slacker.
/4:02 PM

ahhh ,back to school again...

Lemme see what I did throughout these june holidays...

1. Play comp.
2. Watch night in the museum with tay.
3. Do hw.
4. Chiong maths.

Quite a pitiful list, right?

OPW project is DEFINITELY SCREWED UP. You know why? Because my VERY RESPONSIBLE group leader, the one who was clambering to be in the same group with me, DIDN'T DO A SINGLE BLOODY THING. Even if you have tuition every other day, even if you're busy with ????, you CCA-less slacker, atleast you could've bothered to organise some discussion or something?

And becoz of him, I had to become de facto leader again... and try to organise some discussion on MSN. But becoz my freaking group is full of freaking slackers and people who otherwise don't care, our june holiday brocuhre assignment is still undone. Nothing at all. Zilch. Nada. mei you.

D:

Now you know why I'm so depressed during OPW lesson. After all, I'm paired up with a facebook-surfing good for nothing slacker.

Argh.

Frustrating.

i try not to point fingers and blame people... but yeah, you deserve it.

What hansel said was correct.

This is exactly what happens when renjie becomes fed-up of seeing his GIGANTIC BLACK FILE grow in gigantic-ness every day…. and this is also what happens when you have half a year of unfiled work on the dining table… =D

the week.
/7:22 PM

It's time to dEMOnise myself.... =DD

Let's see what happened over the past week.

NON-RESIDENTIAL scout camp from tuesday to thursday... in other words, it's like 3 back-to-back scout meetings and we get to go home every evening... ALL BECOZ OF THE STOOPID SWINE FLUU! D:

So anyways, now I shall attempt to blog about the camp.

The following photos basically sum up what we did on day 1...

Yep, backwoodsman cooking for sec 2s, outdoor cooking for sec 1s. The main difference is that the sec 1s get to cook ROTI PRATA and alll sort of canned food in mess tins... we have the PRIVELEDGE of cooking RAW chicken, RAW fish... yepp, do everything yourself. And we already did this last year... D:

Let's just say that in the end, all our fishes became sashimi, all our chicken was raw... bread was burnt.. .lol. It's harder than in those movies, where they just sit over the fire and wait for the chicken to cook! LOL. xD

Had pioneering and cooking competition on day 2. Cooking comm. was quite funn.... just that my patrol's "dessert" was rated last out of 4 patrols. You know why? Because Fabian went to cook omelette with fishcake (aka imitation carrot cake), instead of a proper dessert. But nevertheless, our FRIED FISH WAS OWNNAAAGE! =D

Day 3 was like the "fun" day. Beach games at east coast, patrol lunch at parkway, then BOWLING at Marine Bowl. And my bowling score was a DISASTER. Highest was 62, lowest 50+. Kinda lousy compared to class outing.... D:

After that, we had cycling to CHANGI VILLAGE. Unfortunately, becoz of L.E.T, we couldn't have night cycling like last year... D: But it was still quite funn, even though I didn't have enough time to eat my fav. char kway teow at changi village, becoz of some stoopid bicycle chain problem...

And I just realsied that EAST COAST PARK IS TOOO FREAKING BIGG! When we got back to East Coast Park on our return journey, we had to cycle from Area H to the bike shop in Area C... and we took nearly an hour to get there. =.= It's very irritating...like you're there but not quite there, if you get what i mean. =D

And looks like we have one more week of freedom! NOOO!

One final thought: Alot of people like to play politics in scouts. Not trying to sabo anyone larh, this is just my observation. :D

it's me/i'm not okay.
/11:04 PM

So you think you know me?

Let's examine what's behind the intricate mask known as Renjie...

A cowardly, forgetful, idiotic, control freak. An emo-ish guy who scolds people when it's actually his fault. An unreasonable, rude, retarded person. Someone who pretends to like someone... but acutally shuns away from him. Someone who meets certain peopel with open arms... but rejects others without giving a chance. Someone who is srewing up all his schoolwork, but everything APPEARS to be okay in front of certain people. Someone who is not okay. Someone who needs 'a little more love than a ltitle bit'. Someone who appears to be 'holier than thou', but actually isn't. Someone who isn't welcome to change. Someone who is jealous, envious of what the people around him have, the kind of personality they have. Someone who craves for attention and recognition. Someone who doesn't dare to open his mouth when he sees something wrong. Someone who is NATO (No Action Talk Only), someone who is 'enthu but can't do anything.' Someone who wears numerous masks to cover who he really is.

So you think you know me? Think again.

What makes me me?

What's so good about me? Why do you see me so highly? Why am I always the average joe?

personality/ random rants.
/4:50 PM

291.

According to iPersonic, I'm introverted, practical, logical, planning, tradition-conscious, organised, persistent, objective...

According to myPersonality, I'm an ISFP, although my friends see me as an ESTJ....

According to my DISC profile, I'm a high I and S, with C just trailing 1 point behind....

According to...

Yeah, you get my drift.

---------------------

Personality tests are supposed to help you understand yourself better, right?

But what happeens when we get "trapped" by them? When, whether consciously or not, we start to "fit into" the results of a certain personality test, when the results MAY NOT be that true?

Or what happens when you use personality tests to justify your behaviour? "Ohh, my DISC profile says I'm a high S and C... so I'm emo-ish...."

---------------------

After doing so many personality tests, after enduring a 2 day mind-bashingly boring talk about my personality last year... Do you think I understand myself better?

Who am I? Who are we?

No amount of personality tests can help you answer that question.

FACT- A Fact Of Life

I forgot about the time that there was somebody in my past,
I feel time has passed so quickly since I took the photograph.
Thanks for the memory that doesn't fade in my heart.
Look at us smiling in the photograph, you can see the secrets behind the fake smiles.
Thanks for the memory that doesn't fade in my heart.

The past was destroyed by you, I'm not going to forget our truth was shadowed in the darkness of war.

The moment when it was destroyed is burned into history.
We can't rewind like a video.
Misleading future not required.
Only the weak among you will be sacrificed.
A false history is not necessary.
No matter what, isn't even a harsh future better than a history made by somebody else?

Don't you think so? (x8)

OMG I thought that song was japanese! =.=

And now I seriously wonder what this song is about....

a week of memories.
/5:45 PM

let's see what happened over the past week.

Campfire at gongshang on tuesday night... yours truly attended as an alumni. Kinda fun to sit among those little kiddos there... and weirdly, alot of my "juniors" still remember me. I'm just toooo unforgettable! =D

I got a new bag from Zinc on thursday... it was actually my bdae present. It's kinda cool and WAAY bigger than my current bag. Of course, I'm not so hao lian to take picture of it and show off to the whole world... but yeah, you'll prolly see it in a couple of weeks. xD

Scout meeting today was pretty "normal", nothing much to talk about. That doesn't mean it was boring, however. =D

And the rest of my week was spent facebooking, playing sims, doing my hw... yeah, life is boring. And weirdly, I'm most emo-ish during the holidays... particularly the long long long break in december.

(added on 9th june)

Lols... forgot that I wayched Night in the Museum 2 with nicholas on wednesday. =.=

I agree that it wasn't as funny as the 1st movie... but I feel that the plot is like waaay "bigger", more exciting. lols.

"I have come BAAACK to life!" -Kamurah.

xD

And yes, I've deleted the post. I'm so pathetic.
--------------------------------

Some pictures of my primary school...

Gongshang FAMILY!? OMGGG. xD

Hall + canteen.

Heritage gallery.

I wonder why I didn't take any pictures of the campfire... maybe becoz there was no FIRE? but anyways, in memories we are rich. (wad mrs lim always likes to say... =.=)

---------------------------
1 and 1/2 years of memories vs. 6 years of memories.

I definitely prefer the 1 and 1/2.

But the 6 years were still great..... :)
