class ouuuuting.
/1:30 PM
Class outing was funnnnn.
Anyways, we went bowling in Kallang Leisure Park... like our very 1st class outing liddat. lols. But bowoing was funn.... scored 85 in my 2nd game, one of my highest so far. xD
Then after bowling, some of us went to catch Terminator: Salvation. It was ok, but not that good or suspenseful. If I didn't plug my ears during the movie, bet the sound of John Conner running around and shooting random stuff would have deafened me. -.-
Anyways, here's some of my observations after watching the terminator movie:
You know you're in an action movie when...1. You get slammed into solid metal walls by gigantic robots but feel no pain.
2. Your superior is ALWAYS a whiny, old man who you ALWAYS disagree with.
3. After entering your enemy's base, supposedly teeming with robots, you only see a couple of them.
4. Even though your enemny's base is supposedly the most high-tech place on Earth, they never bothered to install CCTV cameras. You can run around, hide behind walls, release prisonors without anyone finding you.
5. Your enemies ambush you in their base, but only bothered to send out 1 gigantic robot to destory you. (See no. 3)
oh yarh, photos are on fb; GO FIND THEM YOURSELF. =D

I hate to blog about exam results... but yeah, this is an exception.
Kinda disappointed with my results, not because of my level position (which is pretty sucky-ish), not because of my class position... but because
I didn't do my best.
IMHO, in the end it really doesn't matter what kind of results you get. What's most important is that you gave it your best shot, gave it all you got. This is something that some parents should seriously think about. (no sarcasm intended.)
You may argue that my results are already quite good, "you did better than me".... but it ain't helping. I'm not gonna buy into the 'totem pole' effect, where everyone compares themselves to someone worse than them. D:
Nil sine labore.
We felt but did not grasp
That truth, until the years.
The changing age confirmed severely:
Nothing without labour,
Nothing
is for free
How very true.
