I just read all my early posts. -.-
It's actually quite interesting to go back and see what you wrote last time, what were your worries and fears last time, how you wrote last time... and when you compare your earlier posts to your more recent posts, you would probably see a difference. Esepcially for nicholas, who will probably see a BIG difference in his posts after August 30, 2008, as compared to those before. =D

blogging revelation.

I'm going to be completely honest with you in this post.
Last night(or should I say VERY early this morning ;p) I learned an important lesson about humility: I'm not humble. Not at all.
You may wonder why I say that... let me tell you why. I thought about what I usually talk about in this blog, and I asked myself: "why on earth am i posting sooo much about christianity, God and this kind of stuff? What is my purpose for doing so?"
Sadly, the answer seems to be, "To impress people."
It's getting harder and harder to be honest with you in this post... in fact, half my mind is telling me to scrape this post, relegate this into my drafts, so that it will never be seen again...
But anyways, I think it's very important for me to address this issue. I have a feeling that alot of people will hate me after I post this... but it's still important.
I said that I don't like "despo. attention seekers" But am I an attention seeker myself? Why do I post just to impress people? Why am I trying to get attention for myself through this blog?
From now on, I'm gonna be humble about what I can do, who I am, because I don't deserve all this attention that I was trying to garner. You may see me blogging in a completely different style... but don't fret.

blog styles

After reading quite a number of blogs, I've realised that we all have different styles of blogging. Here are some styles:
1. Diary
Blog is mainly about what you do everyday... maybe some pictures here and there.
This is the most "basic" blogging style. Can be quite boring or dry sometimes.
Example: Yu Lian's blog (all about his life in DHS), Leighton
2. Emo
Very rarely seen. The blogger airs his negative views about life. A depressing read.
Examples: Bok Woon's blog. (certain posts)
3. Pictorial
The blogger is probably an expert photographer, and most of his blog post showcases his
photos, videos etc.
Examples: Mr Siow's blog?
4. Random
Blogger posts totally unrelated and random stuff on his blog.
Examples: Kai Cong's blog. (totally nothing to do with anything at all)
5. Reflective
Blogger not only talks about his life, but reflects on it too.
Examples: Shervin, Ziyad, Francis, me, Nicholas and a ton of other people.
6. Mockery
Alot of sacarsm, satire etc. A funny read.
Examples: Lum's fanblog (Nicholas)
7. Youtube videos
Blogger posts ALOT of youtube videos, till the point where the blog is not about him anymore.
Examples: Kian Meng (when his blog was still around)

This post is dedicated to the 'wonderful' spammer, someone.
In total, you have spammed my blog about 3-4 times in total. I seriously wonder what's wrong with you. If you hate me, at least have the courage to confront me face-to-face, instead of hiding yourself with your stupid on9 name.
I have no idea who are you, how you know me, but God knows, you know. If I have offended you in anyway, sort it out with me, but don't resort to such dirty, sly tricks like spamming my blog.
If you're from VS (and about 90% you are) then I'm seriously ashamed of you. You're supposed to be a GENTLEMAN. Heard that? And is this gentlemany behaviour? Is this? Well obviously no. SO do you even deserve to be in victoria school? Are you a true victorian? Well, I can confidently say no.
So anyways, this also shows me how childish, immamture you are. People who have a proper moral compass will certainly not resort to spamming, of all childish things. So, if you want to continue to be immature, go ahead; let's see how many people will turn away from you, how many people will hate you like poison. Let's see, shall we?
i have banned you from my cbox and intend to keep you banned for the rest of this blog's existence. As a result, some of my FRIENDS are banned with you as well. You have served your purpose as an immature, childish brat. Are you happy now?
PS whoever you are, I demand a confession from you.

just had my chinese oral today...
my reading aloud was not bad I think, but conversation was not as good. My topic was 我的嗜好，stammered quite a bit, but overall I think my oral results should be quite ok.
and I'm going to remove the friends test soon... after all, no one bothers to try it... sad case, sad case...

TGIF

i'm BAC!!!
Yeah, I'm having a mild TGIF mood now. Finally, the week has endedz!!! MAUHAHAHAAHA!!!
I read my previous post and realised that it was seriously...emo. Yeah, I vary between the 2 extremes... sometimes.
But seriously, that post was like "free writing" to me, when I just expressed everything inside me... Hopefully it didn't bore you. =)
ANyways, tomorrow gt CCA(sianzz!) and we r having passing on ceremony... Not exactly sure what is that...
And oh yea, changed template again. The previosu one was too emo for
my liking. And the fonts were HORRIBLE. This one is better... i
think.

I'm irritated, frustrated, angry, feeling emo and blue.
Ever felt like that before?

Staring at the computer screen, I suddenly don't know what to write.
As if I'm so emo-ish that I can't express what's in me.

What a horrible word.
Ever been confused before? Ever been so 'blur', so 'WTH!?' that you feel that you're dumb, you feel that you're stupid?
I'm at that point right now.

Blogging is supposed to be about self-expression. Expressing your ownself, what's in your life etc.
But now as I type on, I find that this isn't consoling.
We filter our words. We filter our thoughts. There are so many filters in our minds that allow us to say the politcally right stuff, and not the things we want to say.
In fact, many of my previous posts were filtered. Not all of them are true reflections, what is actually going on isnide my head.
That's the sad truth. Out of 10 bloggers, I think all 10 will have to say that their blogs are filtered too.

Tis post is to celebrate me completing my D&T HW!!!!
After an arduous, exhuasting, *insert chim words for long, tiring, difficult* time(about 1 hours) I have finally completed all avaliable D&T HW!!! 3 cheers for myself!!!

Seriously, tomorrow is RHD( Racial Harmony Day) and also Jonah's bdae... so Jonah, pls be VERY careful. VERY VERY VERY careful. My ethnic costume has been prepared oreadi. I'll probably stand out like a sore thumb tomorrow in bus 31. =(
Hope I'm not the miniority who choose to wear ethnic costume... I'm having nightmares about that... (nightmares while I'm AWAKE? lols...)

Oh yeah, I forgot to do a brief intro about this skin.
This is template is made by darkdegree, creator of the famous "copehaegen" skin, used in many many blogs. The image is interesting, and this is generally well done, but I didn't like some of the fonts, so I tweaked them to good ole' century gothic. =) Maybe I should take a break from these emo skins for awhile and look at those more colouful ones, right? =)) Any suggestions?
