While I'm typing this, my dad is blabering on and on about san guo yan yi (Romance of The 3 Kingdoms) just because he watched Red Cliff... (a movie)

And about Red Cliff, my advice: If you hate those long, draggy shows with absolutely no comedy and very few action scenes, and with a screwed up plotline which doesn't follow closely to the actual book, DON'T WATCH RED CLIFF.

Anyways, I'm feeling quite happy. I've FINALLY passed my knots test, completed Scout Standard, and also made 2 peoples' day. And today's a SATURDAY. =D

I realised that I should've set up my blog earlier.

if I set up this blog in mid/late 2007, I would be able to write about FOP 2007, and how I came back home at 1am... and also my Korea trip =D

if I set up this blog in early 2008, I'd be able to cover dramafest 2008, which was DEFINITELY one of the best experiences in my life. I'd also be able to cover alot of other exciting stuff that happened this year...

I read some pretty depressing stuff just now.

I'm trying very hard no to 'get invovled' and respond to what I read. But it's getting harder AND harder to just standby while people out there are whining and bitching about my country, about my religion, about God, about alot of other stuff, trying to convince people about their weird theories and random nonsense, ranging from 'God is a murderer' to 'Singapore's courts are corrupted'.

I may or may not like 'refute' those people. It mostly depends on whether i have the time to sit down, and try to convince them that whatever stuff that the wrote/ said is just plain nonsense.

And I think that this post is abit too revealing, becoz CERTAIN people may get a rough idea of which blogs I read just now. But anyways, who cares?

UPDATE: I've decided that I'm not gonna get involved in other people's arguments. Why should I talk to someone I don't really know anyways? So goodbye, and have a nice day.

This is a classic example of generalisation.

Just because the author of this petition has seen several pornographic anime, he calls for all anime to be banned. What about those totally innocent anime series, like D-Gray Man?

It's also very funny that people want this to be banned, that to be banned, all in the name of 'bad influence'. Note that I'm not saying that certain stuff like porn should not be banned.

I think one day people will start banning each other, just because they are supposedly 'bad influences'. Then the earth will soon become desolate, because everyone would have been banned, in some way or another...

Quite a no. of things to look out for... actually most of them are like 'cheap thrills', considering they aren't really very big events... but anyways, I'm excited about those stuff.

Also have quite a no. of ideas in my head regarding the class outing... i will be discussing with jeremy about them. ;)

Something funny about when I set goals: I'm undecisive.

Ok, maybe that wasn't VERY funny. But anyways, half my mind tells me to set high goals, because of the "you can reach the clouds" thingy, yet another half tells me to set REALISTIC goals.

1. Diary
Blog is mainly about what you do everyday... maybe some pictures here and there.
This is the most "basic" blogging style. Can be quite boring or dry sometimes.
Example: Yu Lian's blog (all about his life in DHS), Leighton

2. Emo
Very rarely seen. The blogger airs his negative views about life. A depressing read.
Examples: Bok Woon's blog. (certain posts)

3. Pictorial
The blogger is probably an expert photographer, and most of his blog post showcases his
photos, videos etc.
Examples: Mr Siow's blog?

4. Random
Blogger posts totally unrelated and random stuff on his blog.
Examples: Kai Cong's blog. (totally nothing to do with anything at all)

5. Reflective
Blogger not only talks about his life, but reflects on it too.
Examples: Shervin, Ziyad, Francis, me, Nicholas and a ton of other people.

6. Mockery
Alot of sacarsm, satire etc. A funny read.
Examples: Lum's fanblog (Nicholas)

7. Youtube videos
Blogger posts ALOT of youtube videos, till the point where the blog is not about him anymore.
Examples: Kian Meng (when his blog was still around)

Lols... I realised that BLOGSKINS.COM IS TEEMING WITH SINGAPOREANS!!! =)

They have threads in the forum abt PSLE, and almost 90% of the users there are Singaporean.

However, I'm wondering why did we monopolize the whole of blogskins. The creator of the site was this guy called Myles Grant, and registration is open to everyone around the world. Its abit freaky how the whole show is run by us.

But it also shows how pro we are. =)

I think that maybe Singaporeans are more into blogging, with internet access easily avaliable. I've also noticed that for many 'overseas' bloggers tend to use boring, plain skins, while we hate blogger's predefined skins ALOT. Or maybe there are a lot of HTML, CSS pros in Singapore... but I doubt that.

I came back from the Pasir Ris library after studying with Yulian there. And I'm still taller than him! XD (no offence yulian, i hope ;p)

So now im like... exhausted. Its also weird that I didn't do alot of stuff at the library, yet i spent about 2h 30min there, and I was studying throughout... I guess time passes very fast when you're in a library. =)

Anyways, in recent days I feel less... emo-ish. I also feel alot more optimistic. I'm not very sure what caused this sudden change; maybe I'm having mood swings, or maybe I'm bio-polar. =) But I just feel happy. I can't explain why. But I thank God for that.
